Step 1: Register for your exam
- To register online, select your preferred exam (except TKT and YLE), location and date below.
Please note: Exams will not appear here after the registration deadline has passed or if tests are already full. Find the complete list if all upcoming exam dates and registration periods. Fill in your application with your full details and write your name as it should appear on the certificate.
- To register for YLE and TKT exams, fill in the application form for individual candidates (see below in the DOWNLOADS) for the YLE exams (Starters, Movers, Flyers) and TKT exam (Teaching Knowledge Test). Send your application form to info@britishcouncil.org.ma

Step 2: Pay for your exam
You may pay the examination fees in one of the following ways:
- online during your registration
- in cash at the British Council's reception desk in Casablanca or Rabat
- by credit card at the British Council's reception desk in Casablanca or Rabat
- by cheque paybale to the British Council
- bank transfer to the British Council account number:

Step 3: Submit your recent photograph and valid proof of your identity
- In accordance with Cambridge English Language Assessment regulations, candidates registering for Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE), Cambridge English: First (FCE), Cambridge English: Preliminary (PET), Cambridge English: KEY (KET), Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE), Cambridge English: Business (BEC) will be required to have a passport-style photograph taken on the day of either the speaking test or the written test. Test day photography is compulsory for all candidates over 18 years of age.
- You are required to give your consent for test day photography. Parents or guardians must sign a form in order to give consent for test day photographs for candidates under 18 years of age.
- Submit your recent photograph and valid proof of your identity to the British Council office in Casablanca or Rabat by the registration deadline for the test session.
Step 4: Registration confirmation
- Please send the bank deposit slip (for candidates who will pay by bank transfer), a scanned photo and copy of your ID/passport to info@britishcouncil.org.ma
- If payment confirmation is not received at least 5 days before the exam, the candidate will lose their exam slot.
Group registrations for schools and institutions
If you have a group of candidates, you can register them together as a group, and it may be possible to hold the exam on your premises. Please contact us for more information on the registration process.
